XG-PON dual-band, optical terminal with support for the Wi-Fi 6 standard Huawei OptiXstar HN8546X6 / EN8145X6 is a universal solution that independently provides access to fiber-optic Internet based on XG PON. The device supports the new WPA3 security level, as well as Beamforming technology, which improves Wi-Fi signal reception and helps reduce interference.
HN8546X6 / EN8145X6 are equipped with an XG PON optical port for connecting an Internet provider cable. It distributes long-range Wi-Fi in the 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz frequency bands according to the new Wi-Fi 6 802.11ax standard. It has interfaces: 4 x 1000 Mbit/s; 1 x POTS (telephone communication over the Internet); 2 x USB.
If there is an uninterruptible power supply, a power outage will not interfere with using the Internet. To stay online for an average of 6-8 hours, it is enough to power only one device — the Huawei OptiXstar HN8546X6 / EN8145X6 optical terminal — with a power bank or mini UPS.
